Adopted

A resolution authorizing, under certain conditions, (1) the execution and delivery of a fee in lieu of tax and incentive agreement between Greenville County, South Carolina and a company known to the County as Project Guardian, acting for itself, one or more affiliates or other project sponsors, pursuant to which the County shall covenant to accept certain negotiated fees in lieu of Ad Valorem taxes with respect to the expansion of certain facilities in the County; (2) the benefits of a multi-county industrial or business park to be made available to the Company and the Project; and (3) other matters relating thereto.

An ordinance authorizing the execution and delivery of a fee-in-lieu of Ad Valorem taxes and incentive agreement by and among Greenville County, South Carolina, and Drive Automotive Industries of America, Inc., as sponsor, and Mid Realty Holdings, L.L.C., as sponsor affiliate, to provide for a fee in lieu of Ad Valorem taxes incentive, granting of certain special source revenue credits and other matters related thereto.

       d.      Anderson / Greenville MCIP Agreement - Project Paint 

Adopted

An ordinance to develop a jointly owned and operated industrial/business park (Project Paint) in conjunction with Anderson County, such industrial/business park to be geographically located in Anderson County and established pursuant to South Carolina Code of Laws of 1976, as amended; to provide for a written agreement with Anderson County providing for the expenses of the park, the percentage of revenue application, and the distribution of fees in lieu of Ad Valorem taxes to the counties and relevant taxing entities; to provide that job tax credits allowed by law be provided for businesses located in said park; and to permit a user fee in lieu of Ad Valorem Taxation within said park.

  • Councilor Payne wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving

 

  • Councilor Rawls stated his appreciation to Chairman Kirven for having gone to the South Greenville Fire Department for the dedication of the new department.

 

  • Councilor Seman stated her appreciation for the presentation of the SC National Guard at the Committee of the Whole. She informed Council that on December 17th at 11:30, SCTAC would be making their annual report at the Hyatt; lunch would be provided.

 

  • Councilor Dill wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. He also commented on the Governor’s announcement regarding employment in South Carolina.
